Villa Caletas is very involved with the Certificate of Sustainable Tourism (CST program).
We want our guest to be able to touch and feel the nature around them and that is why we have created a trail on our grounds that goes from the top of the mountain to our private Caletas beach. White face monkeys, toucans and coatis might cross your way as you go down as well as all the magnificent plants and flowers.
Close to the end you will find a little river with some waterfalls and little whirlpool where you can plunge in and relax with the sounds of the forest surrounding you.
It is mandatory to report yourself at the front desk before taking the trail and sign the waiver. Some part are very steep and we recommend you use the walking stick that we provided.
